This is a beautiful 1973 Omega Geneve in very good condition.
This particular model of the Geneve is one of the most attractive in the Geneve model history. It moved away from the "beefy" lugs of the earlier Seamasters to a much more elegant design that visually prioritised the dial over the case and bezel and as such gives the watch great wrist presence.
The silver sunburst dial has applied, polished steel hour batons with black inserts. All except the quarters have balls of luminous material at their tips. The stainless steel hands also have black inserts. Sweep seconds hand. Quick-set date at 3 changes automatically at midnight. To adjust the date pull out the crown one stop and turn to go forward or back. To adjust the day, pull the crown out two stops and turn clockwise. Original crown with the Omega logo. The acrylic is in good condition. Printed in black is the Omega logo, Omega, Automatic,Geneve and Swiss made.
The stainless steel case and screw fit case-back are in very good condition and has probably been polished in the past. The inside of the case-back is fully marked Omega together with the model number. There are no significand dinks or scratches.
The watch is run by the Omega in-house manufactured 1044 calibre. In good condition and running as you would expect.
Fitted to the watch is a brand new Italian leather strap.
