This is a beautiful 1970 Omega Genève in excellent condition.
This particular model of the Genève is one of the more attractive in the Geneve model history. It had gradually moved away from the "beefy" lugs as seen in the earlier Seamasters to a more integrated design that further incorporated the lugs into the watch case.
The sunburst silver dial is slightly darker than shown in the pictures. The applied hour batons are in black with silver chanferred facets. Each is finished with a luninous material dot at the end. The stainless steel hands have matching luminous inserts and black strips. Sweep seconds hand. Omega, the Omega logo, Genève and T-Swiss Made-T all printed in black. Original crown with the Omega logo. Original acrylic with the Omega logo etched in the centre.
The stainless steel case and screw fit case-back are in fine condition with no signs of abuse, just a few minor scratches. The inside of the case-back is fully marked Omega together with the model number.
The watch is run by the manual wind Omega in-house manufactured 601 calibre. In great condition and running as you would expect.
Fitted to the watch is a generic stainless steel bracelet. This will fit a medium/small size wrist of about 17.5cm. This can be replaced by a new black leather strap upon request.
