This is a 1966 Omega Seamaster automatic in a gold capped case. In good overall condition, this Seamaster looks great on the wrist and runs well.
 
The sunburst dial is in good condition and has aged well. There are virtually no marks visible to the unaided eye. Gold Dauphine hands and matching sweep seconds hand. Riveted gold coloured hour batons. Quick-set date at 3. Pull the crown out one stop to adjust the time. Pull it out to the second stop and push it back to the first step to advance the date. Do this pereatedly to advance multiple dates. The crown is genuine Omega but smaller than the original Seamaster crown. The Omega logo is applied in gold. Omega, Seamaster, Automatic and swiss-Made are all in black print.
 
The gold-capped case is also in good condition with only the slightest of rubbing on the tips of the lugs. There are small scratches and dents commensurate with its age. The watch-back is made of stainless steel and screws on. In the centre is the Sea Monster in fine relief. Inside the case-back it is fully marked Omega.
 
Inside is the Omega calibre 565 in excellent condition. Runs well.
 
The watch comes with a used non-Omega black strap.
