A delightful Omega built in 1960 with a gold pated case and stainless steel back.
 
This lovely watch has a dial in outstanding condition. Raised golden batons with chamfered edges at 1,2,4,5,7,8,10 and 11. Applied golden Arabic numerals 3, 6, 9 and 12. Matching gold hands and sweep seconds hand. Applied Omega logo with Omega and Swiss Made printed in black.
 
The case is in generally good condition showing some signs of wear but, considering it's 65 years that's to be expected. Slight wear to the gold plate at the ends of the lugs. Omega signed crown. The snap-fit case back is in good condition and is fully marked Omega on the inside.
 
Inside is the in-house manufactured Omega calibre 285. This is a derivitive of the famous Omega 30T2, a range of movements that were instramental for the success of the brand for 25 years. Runs well.
 
The watch comes with a used brown (non-Omega) strap.
