This is the second of two Omega's from the WW11 era that came from the same collection. A beautiful technical dial and in very good overall condition. Slightly larger than the average classic Seamaster which was introduced in 1948.
The stainless steel case has only a few dinks and scratches commenserate with a watch that has been well cared for. On the inside of the case-back it is fully marked Omega.
The two tone dial has aged well with a slight, even patina. Printed Roman numerals as hour indexes. Being a technical dial each minute index is split by 5 sub-indexes which helps create a very fine appearance. Skeleton steel hands. Blued steel sweep seconds hand. Original Omega marked crown. In black print is the Omega logo, Omega and Automatic.
The watch runs very well and inside is an early Omega automatic "bumper" movement. When the watch is worn and the arm moves a rotor absorbs the energy and bumps back and forth against springs to wind the watch.
A used, genuine lizard strap is fitted.
