Here we have a characterful 1943 Omega wrist watch in 14k gold.
If you like a patinated or "lived-in" dial this could be for you! Indeed the picture of the dial tells the story! Riveted gold batons at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Arabic numberal hour indexes. Gold "leaf" hands. Small seconds sunken sub-dial at 6. The Omega logo and Omega printed in black. Replacement crown.
The case is in gorgeous 14k solid rose gold. It's in very good condition free of dents and scratches. It's certainly had a life because the lugs aren't quite true! On the back is an inscription J.R.K. from Anukul & Rajen 5.10.44. Inside the case-back it is marked Omega and 14k (0.585) gold. With a diameter of 33.6mm this is a slightly smaller than the average Seamaster (34.5mm) so generally sits better on a smaller wrist. The pictures include the watch on a smaller wrist.
Inside, the watch is run by the Omega in-house created R17.8 15P calibre. A very successful design that was in production for over 20 years. In good working order.
