The watch you see here dates back to approximately 1903, at the crossroads of Regina’s independent production and its merger with Omega. Its craftsmanship represents the quality both brands were known for, with design details that mark it as part of Omega’s heritage. Owning a Regina watch from this period is like holding a piece of history—one that symbolizes the early days of what would become one of the world’s most iconic watch brands.
 
A couple of items stand out with this watch compared to other early Omega's. Firstly the finish on the moverment is superior. View the picture and make the comparison yourself. Secondly you'll be pushed to find an Omega pocket watch with a screw back case!
 
This Regina pocket watch is in excellent condition. The case is gold gold-filled i.e. a layer of gold that is bonded to the base metal. More durable than most gold plated watches, there are no signs of rub-through. The distinctive, wide bezel is free of dinks and marks. There is a highly defined coin-edge and the back has a worn decorative engraving. The crown and bale are original. Inside the case-back it is marked gold-filled together with the case-makers markings. As mentioned earlier the case-back simply unscrews and it is a testement to the engineering that this works so smoothly. 
 
The dial is enamel, still with it's crisp white finish. The hours are Arabic numerals in black whilst the minutes are black indexes with Arabic numerals in red every five minutes. Lovely blued steel Poire hands. Sunken small seconds sub-dial at 6. It marked Regina in Black. Under magnification there is a small hairline between 3 and 4 but it would not be visible to most peoples unaided eyes.
 
The movement is in exceptionally good condition as seen in the picture. The engineered finish sets it apart from most other early Omega pocket watches.
